Course Description
Writer is the word processing program of the free, open-source, multi-platform OpenOffice.org suite. First time users (or even users of Microsoft® Word®) will find Writer as having everything one would expect from a modern and fully-packed word processor or desktop publisher. It is equipped with features such as AutoCorrect, AutoComplete, Styles Formatting, Themes, Spell Checker, Hyperlinking, Tables, and many more!
This one day essential training will teach participants how to create and manage documents, get help, make simple editing changes, format characters and paragraphs, set up pages, incorporate page numbers, custom headers and footers, and lastly, print documents.
