Course Description

Flash Essential Training is a hands-on course that will introduce you to the basics of creating objects and animating in Flash. You will also explore the application's tools and features, and will create different types of animations. Finally, you will publish material for the Web.


In order to take this course, you need to be familiar with your computer's operating system and basic operation.

Who Should Take This Course
This course is intended for students with little or no experience creating Flash animations, who want to create animations using Adobe Flash.

Course Objectives

Course Objectives

After completing this course, students will know how to create custom Flash animations for use on the Web. Students will create frame-by-frame, shape-tweened, and motion-tweened animation using both custom and imported graphics as well as text.

Moreover, you will have learned how to:

  1. View a Flash movie and modify the appearance of the Stage.
  2. Draw, paint, and create custom colors, gradients, and line styles.
  3. Manipulate objects, describe shape interaction, and import artwork.
  4. Add text and manipulate its behavior and appearance.
  5. Build layers and use them to create various effects.
  6. Create frame-by-frame, shape-tweened, and motion-tweened animation.
  7. Publish a Flash movie.
